Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osiris Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smalls has chosen Biggie Smalls - Niggas Bleed as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Flores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Osiris Smalls! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smalls looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Smalls slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Osiris Smalls hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Flores slips a jab and a cross from Smalls.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smalls.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flores forces Smalls back against the cage and clinches. Smalls has Flores pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Smalls pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Flores tumbling to the mat - Smalls dives into Flores's guard. Smalls stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flores swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smalls pushing down on Flores's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Smalls is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Flores has managed to free his arm - good work. Smalls is trying to work for a kimura. Flores doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smalls.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smalls slows the pace down in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smalls seems to be working for a kimura but Flores defends the submission attempt. Smalls wants to work for an arm triangle but Flores is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flores is trying to maintain the position but Smalls is very close to passing his half guard. Smalls is taking a breather. Flores says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Smalls seems to be looking for submissions.

Smalls looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Smalls is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Smalls has hold of Flores's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Flores manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Smalls controlling his opponent. Flores holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Smalls tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Flores is squirming around, avoiding Smalls's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Osiris Smalls dominated that round. That's time! Flores's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Smalls has a takedown stuffed. The fight moves into the clinch position. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Flores seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Smalls is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Flores gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smalls.
Flores lands an elbow just above Smalls 's eye. Flores throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Smalls blocks the elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flores throws an elbow that misses.
Smalls is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Andy Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Osiris Smalls. Smalls works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Smalls sitting in guard here, content to control. Smalls wants to control from the top but Flores keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smalls is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Smalls sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Flores's guard. Smalls seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Osiris Smalls has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Smalls shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flores but Flores pushes him off and we're back to square one. Smalls looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Smalls drives through with a takedown into Flores's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Smalls tries to free his leg and advance position but Flores is retaining full guard. Flores is looking to stand up but Smalls isn't so interested in that idea. Smalls pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flores is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smalls drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smalls jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Smalls advances to half guard. Smalls with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Smalls passes the guard and advances to mount! Smalls controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flores knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smalls on the ground. Flores in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Smalls with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Smalls working Flores over with strikes here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smalls looking for a guillotine from mount but Flores is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Osiris Smalls showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Smalls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Smalls stands and throws Flores's legs to the side, diving into side control. Smalls has hold of Flores's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Flores seems comfortable defending it but Smalls has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Flores is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Flores is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Smalls couldn't care less - he's delighted!
