Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sad Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Wilshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Wilshire! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wilshire goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sak prevents it.
Wilshire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wilshire throws a sloppy head kick and Sak moves out of range easily. Wilshire with a lazy takedown attempt and Sak counters with a shoot takedown. Wilshire fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sak controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wilshire wants to hit a switch here but Sak passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wilshire there! Sak controlling the position easily from mount. Sak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sak lands a nice shot to the head. Wilshire wants to control but Sak is having none of it. Sak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilshire on the ground. Sak sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Sak thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Sak controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Sad Sak wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Wilshire shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Sak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sad Sak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Wilshire. Wilshire is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sak sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilshire keeping full guard, as Sak tries to pass. Sak has gone for a leg lock! Wilshire slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sak's guard. Sak has Wilshire pulled in close to control his posture. Wilshire wants to stand and escape but instead Sak has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sad Sak. Wilshire wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sad Sak dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilshire.

Wilshire can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sak controls the pace. Sak has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wilshire shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Sak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sak lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sak sitting in guard here, content to control. Sak throwing strikes from guard but Wilshire blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sad Sak wasn't doing enough on the ground. Wilshire gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sak wants to pass the guard but Wilshire is keeping the position. Sak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wilshire working a defensive guard but Sak manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sad Sak. Sak lands a really nice looking cross but Wilshire seems unphased.
Sak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilshire swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wilshire attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sak shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wilshire manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilshire swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wilshire's guard. Sak is looking to pass Wilshire's guard but actually Wilshire recovers to full guard. Sak looking to pass the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilshire is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sad Sak dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Sak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilshire tries to improve position but can't. Sak happy to just control the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Wilshire parries the strikes from Sak easily there. Sak is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wilshire to escape.
Sak takes a little break here. Wilshire wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Sad Sak has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sak darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Sak seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sad Sak just wasn't active enough. Wilshire has his takedown stuffed and Sak counters with a stiff right hand. Wilshire has his takedown stuffed and Sak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wilshire's guard. Wilshire takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sak is stalling in the full guard. Sak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilshire can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sak pushes down on Wilshire's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sak trying to mount his opponent but Wilshire defends it. Sak is figuring out what he wants to do next. Sak wants to pass to mount but Wilshire is defending the position. Wilshire avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sak. Sad Sak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sak looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sak seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wilshire for as long as he can get away with.

And that's the end of the fight! Sad Sak showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sak has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
