Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kung Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Ahma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lai comes to the cage accompanied by KoRn - Twisted Transistor. Ahma has chosen Power - Kanye West as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lai scores with a leg kick.
Ahma misses with a takedown attempt
and Lai counters with a stiff right hand.
Lai uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ahma is defended easily by Lai.
Lai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ahma shoots in looking for a takedown but Lai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ahma's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kung Lai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jussi Ahma.

and Lai counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Kung Lai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lai lands with a hook. Ahma tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ahma moves to clinch but Lai breaks away
and Lai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ahma walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lai.
Ahma takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A jab lands there for Lai.
Lai lands with a nice body kick.
Lai lands with a good body shot.
Ahma chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lai can pounce on him.

Lai lands with a kick to the temple. Ahma shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lai connects with a leg kick. Ahma looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ahma is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lai is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ahma.
Lai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ahma.
Ahma blocks a head kick by Lai.
Ahma rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ahma takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lai. That's going to slow Ahma down.

and Lai counters with a series of strikes. Ahma will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ahma. That did some damage!

Ahma stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lai.
Ahma steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lai. That one must have hurt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lai.
Lai connects with a right hand. Ahma shakes it off.

Ahma on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ahma's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Jussi Ahma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ahma's calf.

Ahma has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Lai.
Lai throws a series of punches but Ahma avoids them all with ease.

Lai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Lai counters with an outside leg kick.
Lai lands with a kick to the temple. Ahma shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Ahma might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lai has got the better of the exchanges.

Lai turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ahma crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lai - the referee stops the clock and Ahma gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lai. Ahma manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well Lai has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
