Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Squirmy McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bill Foster!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee shoots for a double leg takedown but Foster sprawls well. He's pushed McGee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGee fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch but McGee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGee slow jab from Foster misses its intended target.
Foster misses with a body kick.

McGee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Foster is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

McGee is trying to work for a kimura but Foster is defending well.

McGee seems to be working for a kimura but Foster defends the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGee wants to pass to mount but Foster is defending the position.

McGee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Foster is just riding it out for now. McGee eventually gives up the hold.
Foster is looking for a sweep. McGee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McGee is looking for a kimura but Foster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGee to get the leverage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

McGee is looking for a kimura here.
McGee stops Foster from getting back to his feet.

McGee is working for an americana but Foster has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst McGee was thinking about the submission.
McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard.

McGee seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Foster is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
