Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wellen Dowd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dowd comes to the cage accompanied by Primus - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. Holden James has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wellen Dowd's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Wellen Dowd has been cut.
James throws a hook but Dowd blocks it.
Dowd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but James manages to avoid it.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dowd.

James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dowd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dowd defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Wellen Dowd will probably get the nod.

James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dowd throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it.

Dowd gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! James points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Dowd wakes up just in time to hear James thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
