Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Shewmaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langley has chosen No More Heroes: Kill or Be Killed Mix as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Frank Shewmaker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frank Shewmaker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Shewmaker's half guard.
Shewmaker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Shewmaker.
Shewmaker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Langley!
Shewmaker is working for a guillotine from mount but Langley frees his head quite easily.

Shewmaker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Langley manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Langley tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Shewmaker presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Langley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Langley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shewmaker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Langley has Shewmaker in his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shewmaker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Langley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Langley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Langley!
Shewmaker tries to buck Langley off but Langley is having none of it.

Langley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Shewmaker manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Shewmaker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Langley wants to sweep but no luck.

Langley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shewmaker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shewmaker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Langley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Shewmaker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Langley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shewmaker has managed to get both his arms back between Langley's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Langley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Shewmaker has picked Langley up and slammed him! Langley can't keep hold of the triangle and Shewmaker manages to pass to side control!
Shewmaker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Langley has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Shewmaker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Langley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shewmaker did well to prevent Langley getting side control.

Langley swings around for an armbar but Shewmaker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Langley's guard.

Langley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Langley lands a big shot there that rocks Shewmaker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Shewmaker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Langley is landing with some decent strikes but Shewmaker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Langley scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Shewmaker is in a horrible position here. Langley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Shewmaker is rocked!
Langley postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Shewmaker badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Langley around the waist but Langley pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Langley is the winner by TKO! Langley jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
