The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Muckmurphy misses with a body kick.
Muckmurphy throws a right and a left that Balon avoids nicely.
Balon tries for a takedown but Muckmurphy circles away easily

and Muckmurphy counters with a crisp one two that drops Balon! Muckmurphy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Balon to his feet! Balon is in big trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muckmurphy misses with a wild combination.
Muckmurphy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Balon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Muckmurphy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balon circles away quickly and effectively.
Balon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Balon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Muckmurphy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Muckmurphy throws a right hand that Balon ducks under and follows up with a left that Balon also avoids with ease.
Nice takedown defense from Muckmurphy. No joy for Balon on that attempt.
Muckmurphy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Muckmurphy duly obliges.

It looks like Mariusz Balon has been cut.
Muckmurphy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Balon.
Muckmurphy tries to clinch there but Balon circles away.
Balon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Muckmurphy drops Balon with a beautiful combination! Balon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Muckmurphy is looking for the KO!
Balon is breathing heavily.

Balon tries for a takedown but Muckmurphy circles away easily
and Muckmurphy makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Muckmurphy tries to bum rush Balon with a series of wild strikes but Balon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Muckmurphy misses with a double jab.

Muckmurphy lands a brutal head kick. Balon looks out on his feet and Muckmurphy throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
