Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kushin Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingdown comes to the cage accompanied by Baggy Trousers. Ben Dingdown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kushin Takahashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kushin Takahashi! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takahashi avoids the head kick by Dingdown.
Takahashi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dingdown moves into the clinch successfully.
Dingdown is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Takahashi is defending well for now. Dingdown taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Takahashi jumps guard.
Takahashi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dingdown defends well. Takahashi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dingdown gets to his feet - Takahashi follows without any prompting. Dingdown throws a sloppy head kick and Takahashi moves out of range easily. Takahashi shoots in for a double leg but Dingdown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No luck for Takahashi with that takedown attempt. Takahashi tries for a takedown but Dingdown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ben Dingdown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kushin Takahashi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Dingdown. No joy for Takahashi on that attempt. Dingdown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Takahashi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dingdown sprawls well initially but Takahashi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Takahashi looks gassed! Takahashi is looking for a kimura here.
Dingdown controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Takahashi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dingdown wants to get back to his feet. Takahashi is working for a kimura but Dingdown is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dingdown is trying to stand back up but Takahashi is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takahashi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dingdown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Takahashi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Takahashi's back! Dingdown landing with strikes. Takahashi tries to break free.
Dingdown controls the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dingdown is trying to stick to Takahashi's back but Takahashi is turning into Dingdown. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dingdown's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Takahashi. Takahashi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dingdown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Takahashi has Dingdown in his guard. Takahashi working for a triangle but Dingdown defends it easily.
Takahashi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dingdown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dingdown gets to his feet. Takahashi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takahashi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kushin Takahashi will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Takahashi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Takahashi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dingdown is trying to get back to his feet. Takahashi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dingdown has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Takahashi but great work by Dingdown. Takahashi is looking for a sweep. Dingdown decides to take the fight back to the feet. Dingdown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dingdown slaps away a takedown attempt from Takahashi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Takahashi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ben Dingdown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kushin Takahashi. Good standup being displayed there by Dingdown as he connects with a hook. Takahashi is breathing heavily. Dingdown lands a high kick!
Takahashi is rocked! Takahashi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dingdown as he jumps to the side. Takahashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Dingdown finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Takahashi tries for a takedown but Dingdown circles away easily and Dingdown counters with a stiff right hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Dingdown looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dingdown with a nice cross. Dingdown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Takahashi tries for a takedown but Dingdown circles away easily and Dingdown counters with a head kick that drops Takahashi to the mat! Takahashi scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Dingdown scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Takahashi looks up at the clock. Bad move! Dingdown lands a right hand from hell, dropping Takahashi. Dingdown pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Dingdown!
