The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooperman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hakkney pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cooperman gets the takedown into side control.
Hakkney is trying to buck Cooperman off.
Hakkney is trying to control Cooperman's posture but Cooperman avoids it.
Hakkney is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Cooperman tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Cooperman tries to stand but Hakkney controls the position and pulls Cooperman into his guard.
Hakkney is controlling Cooperman's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hakkney wants to clinch but Cooperman slips to the side

Cooperman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cooperman wants to control from the top but Hakkney keeps moving.
Cooperman wants to stand and escape but instead Hakkney has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
