Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joilton Cayana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joilton Cayana will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joilton Cayana! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dorian stuffs the takedown. Cayana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dorian as he jumps to the side. Dorian changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cayana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dorian slows the pace down. Dorian is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cayana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dorian is trying to land an Americana. Dorian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cayana, who protects the arm well. Cayana seems a little lost for a moment, as Dorian dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorian seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cayana for as long as he can get away with. Dorian tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cayana is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Cayana's face as Dorian controls the position. Cayana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dorian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cayana struggling a bit here. Dorian moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Cayana tries to bench press Dorian off him but Dorian keeps the position. Dorian staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cayana tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dorian wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Cayana is letting Dorian control him for a moment.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Lorenzo Dorian just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cayana fails with the takedown and Dorian counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cayana! Lorenzo Dorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joilton Cayana. Dorian moves to the back position. Cayana should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dorian is working for a rear naked choke. Cayana is not defending it well and Dorian has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Cayana refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Cayana's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
