Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zuzmaras Azablak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zuzmaras Azablak! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azablak has his takedown stuffed and Sanchez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sanchez. Sanchez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sanchez scoring with punches to the head and body. Sanchez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Azablak controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zuzmaras Azablak has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Sanchez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Azablak did well to prevent Sanchez getting side control. Sanchez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Azablak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sanchez slips a nice elbow through Azablak's hands, connecting with Azablak's forehead. Sanchez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Azablak to stand up. Sanchez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Azablak manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanchez engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sanchez works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Azablak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sanchez is working away from the top position though. Sanchez is taking a breather. Azablak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sanchez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Azablak has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sanchez content to control rather than advance. Azablak is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sanchez scores with a couple of nice shots. Sanchez slows the pace down in half guard. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez moves into full mount! Azablak won't be happy about that! Sanchez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Azablak is in all sorts of trouble here.
Azablak looks gassed! Azablak's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Sanchez lands with some strikes. Sanchez landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez with the ground and pound from mount. Sanchez landing punches. Sanchez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Azablak hang on? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Sanchez dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Azablak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sanchez scoring with some ground and pound. Sanchez controlling from the top position. Sanchez working some strikes from top position. Sanchez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Azablak's head. Sanchez has gone for a leg lock! Azablak slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sanchez's guard. Azablak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Azablak is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Azablak shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sanchez counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sanchez with a nice head shot there. Sanchez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sanchez forces his way into half guard. Sanchez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Azablak is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Eddie Sanchez!
