Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Mullins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Monkeys of War. Gerard Mullins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tiger Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gerard Mullins!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lee is trying to stall.
The referee calls for Mullins to work.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mullins as Lee tries to tie him up.
Mullins misses with a body punch.
Mullins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mullins lands a takedown into guard.
Mullins trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee trying to keep a closed guard but Mullins is proving a slippery customer.

Mullins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mullins has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mullins is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Lee is holding on to half guard well.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mullins is working away from the top position though.
Lee is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Mullins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mullins is in Lee's guard.
Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mullins trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Mullins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mullins wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee throws a series of punches but Mullins moves out of range.
Mullins misses with a straight left.
Mullins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mullins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lee counters with a left and a right that stings Mullins.

Mullins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lee is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mullins has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Lee is looking for a sweep.

Mullins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mullins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mullins is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lee is trying to get back to his feet.

Mullins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Mullins trying to control the position but Lee is working away.

Mullins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mullins wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.
Lee pushes Mullins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mullins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lee is looking to reverse the position.

Mullins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mullins lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet.
Lee is looking for a sweep.

Lee prevents Mullins from moving into mount.
Mullins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mullins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mullins tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
Lee stops Mullins from passing to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Mullins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Mullins thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lee gets back to half guard.
Mullins is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Gerard Mullins will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Lee misses with a head kick.
Mullins misses with a straight left.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mullins circles away quickly and effectively.
Lee with a poor takedown
and Mullins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tiger Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lee pushes Mullins up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Mullins has him pressed against the cage.
Mullins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lee's efforts to push away.
Mullins gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mullins walks away with a smile on his face. Lee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
