The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman misses with a looping right.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Clancey scores with a body shot.
Grossman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Grossman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Grossman is looking to clinch but Clancey is avoiding it.
Grossman swings for the body but Clancey moves out of range.
Grossman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clancey.

Grossman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clancey was covering up waiting for the punch and Grossman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Grossman postures up in Clancey's guard and throws a big left but Clancey blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grossman throws a strike but Clancey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clancey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Grossman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clancey's guard.

Grossman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grossman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Clancey wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Grossman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
