Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Windchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Rill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joao Rill told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Windchester shoots in for a double leg but Rill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rill moves into the clinch.
Windchester on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rill throws a knee to the head but misses.
Rill keeps control of Windchester as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rill lands with a left to the head.
Windchester wants to get back to striking at distance but Rill won't allow it.

Joao Rill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Windchester shoots in looking for a takedown but Rill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Windchester's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Windchester has closed the distance and engaged Rill in a clinch.
Windchester has clasped his hands together around Rill's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Rill walks into a stiff left hand from Windchester.

Rill throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Windchester stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rill struggles to land a body shot inside as Windchester controls his hands.

Windchester has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Rill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Windchester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Windchester, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
