Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaw Yan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: bad romance. Nate Kronic could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yaw Yan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kronic counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kronic leaves Yan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kronic throws a wild body kick that Yan sees coming a mile off.
No joy there for Kronic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yan fails with the takedown
and Kronic counters with a series of strikes. Yan will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nate Kronic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yaw Yan.
Kronic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kronic wants it to stay on the feet.
Kronic doesn't manage to clinch there - Yan circles away.
Kronic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kronic throws a sloppy head kick
and Yan counters with a one-two to the body.
Kronic tries to close the distance and clinch but Yan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kronic lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yan's sensitive parts.
Kronic misses with a few strikes there.
Kronic darts in and clinches Yan up against the cage.
Kronic breaks the clinch.
Yan fails to land the takedown.
Yan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Yan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kronic lands a nice hook to Yan's body. Yan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kronic moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yan looks gassed!
Yan shoots and misses
and Kronic holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kronic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yan tries to keep at a distance but Kronic has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kronic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yan shoots in looking for a takedown. Kronic tries to sprawl out of it but Yan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kronic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kronic throws a leg kick which misses Yan's front leg but catches the back leg as Yan tries to avoid it.
Danga de danga de dang - Yan scores with a four punch combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Kronic.
Yan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kronic.
Kronic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yan cracks Kronic with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Yan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kronic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kronic. Kronic obviously looking to wear him down.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yan is defended easily by Kronic.
Kronic is looking to slow Yan down with leg kicks.

Kronic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Good leg kick by Kronic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kronic lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kronic.
Yan is rocked!
Kronic fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Yan is still on wobbly legs! Can Kronic finish him?
Kronic lets loose with a powerful body kick. Yan will feel that in the morning.
Kronic has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Kronic.
Kronic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kronic steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Yan is out on his feet! Kronic sets himself and nearly takes Yan's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
