Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Troy Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jae Darkwaters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the ring accompanied by DJ Shadow, Six Days. Jae Darkwaters has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jae Darkwaters! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Darkwaters! Darkwaters is looking to improve his position but Reed isn't that keen on the idea. Darkwaters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Reed. Reed blocks Darkwaters's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Reed has hold of Darkwaters's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Darkwaters manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Darkwaters keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Reed fails to advance to Darkwaters's back. Reed prevents Darkwaters from getting the reversal. Reed jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Darkwaters manages to avoid the submission attempt. Reed is looking to take a break and control but Darkwaters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darkwaters sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Reed prevents Darkwaters from improving his position. Reed works his way into full mount! Darkwaters sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Darkwaters keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Darkwaters looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Darkwaters tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Darkwaters wants to get back to full guard. Reed is looking for a kimura here.
Reed is breathing heavily. Darkwaters looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darkwaters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Darkwaters circles away. Reed walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Darkwaters jabs at Reed's body. Reed on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Reed looks for a takedown but Darkwaters sprawls well. Darkwaters lands with a right hand. Reed pushes Darkwaters up against the ropes in a clinch. Reed misses with a knee to the head. Reed has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Darkwaters avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Troy Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed jumps into guard, dragging Darkwaters to the mat.
Darkwaters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reed swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reed has his foot on Darkwaters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Darkwaters works his way back into a safe position though. Darkwaters working some strikes from top position. Reed is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reed is looking to advance position but Darkwaters won't allow it. Darkwaters regains full guard. Nicely done. Darkwaters keeping moving, preventing Reed from controlling successfully. Reed passes Darkwaters's left leg - he's now in half guard. Darkwaters has hold of Reed's hands but Reed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Darkwaters slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Reed avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Darkwaters is looking for a triangle but Reed pushes his legs off easily.
Reed wants to control from the top but Darkwaters keeps moving. Darkwaters throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Darkwaters is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Reed frees his head nicely. Oh but Darkwaters has switched to an armbar! Reed is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
