Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peda Woodstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Urbonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urbonas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. Jorge Urbonas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peda Woodstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jorge Urbonas!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodstock on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Woodstock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Woodstock throws a half hearted mid kick.
Urbonas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Woodstock.
Woodstock misses with a kick to the body.
Woodstock lands a high kick!


It looks like Jorge Urbonas has been cut.

Urbonas scores a takedown into full mount!
Urbonas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Urbonas might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Woodstock can't escape the position.

Urbonas avoids the attempt from Woodstock to control.
Woodstock gets back to half guard.
Woodstock manages to get to full guard.
Urbonas looking to pass the guard.
Urbonas controls from within his opponent's guard.
Urbonas stands and throws Woodstock's legs to the side, diving into side control.

A lull in the action here as Urbonas stalls from top position.
Woodstock is trying to control Urbonas's posture but Urbonas avoids it.
Woodstock tries to bench press Urbonas off him but Urbonas keeps the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Woodstock throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Urbonas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Woodstock.
Woodstock throws a wild body kick that Urbonas sees coming a mile off.

Urbonas throws a leg kick but Woodstock sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Urbonas shoots in and bounces Woodstock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Urbonas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Woodstock's guard.
Urbonas trying to mount his opponent but Woodstock defends it.
Woodstock is looking to improve his position.
Urbonas is thwarting Woodstock's attempts to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Urbonas slows the pace down in half guard.
Woodstock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Woodstock.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jorge Urbonas will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Woodstock closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Urbonas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Woodstock gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Urbonas counters with a straight right hand.
Urbonas moves out of range of the body kick from Woodstock.
Woodstock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Woodstock throws a sloppy head kick and Urbonas moves out of range easily.
Urbonas misses with a series of wild punches.
Urbonas digs a good hook to Woodstock's body.
Woodstock throws a solid leg kick but Urbonas takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Woodstock.
Woodstock takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Urbonas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Woodstock's half guard.

Urbonas content to control rather than advance.
Woodstock is looking to control Urbonas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Woodstock avoid being mounted?
Woodstock wants to get back to full guard.

Woodstock looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woodstock is looking for a sweep. Urbonas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jorge Urbonas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Woodstock is positioning himself well to prevent Urbonas advancing to mount.
Woodstock tries to roll over but Urbonas keeps him under control.
Woodstock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Woodstock is trying to reverse the position but instead Urbonas has taken his back - oops!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Urbonas has the hooks in. Woodstock is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Urbonas is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Urbonas keeps control of the position as Woodstock tries to break free.

Urbonas is persistently looking for the submission but Woodstock is defending it well.
Woodstock is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Urbonas.
Woodstock tries to escape but Urbonas has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Urbonas is not going to allow Woodstock to sit and survive in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jorge Urbonas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Woodstock misses with a head kick.
Urbonas throws a chopping leg kick but Woodstock manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Urbonas throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circling - Urbonas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Urbonas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Urbonas lands in his opponent's guard.

Woodstock is trying to keep Urbonas in close.

Woodstock throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Urbonas escapes and throws Woodstock's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Urbonas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Woodstock is looking for a sweep.

Woodstock is trying to escape the position but Urbonas is controlling the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jorge Urbonas wasn't active enough on the ground.
Woodstock throws a half hearted mid kick.
Urbonas is looking to chop away at Woodstock's legs.
Woodstock dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Urbonas. That did some damage!
Woodstock cracks the inside of Urbonas's front leg.
Urbonas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Woodstock.
Peda Woodstock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Urbonas just misses with a punch to the body.
Urbonas fails with a takedown attempt.
Urbonas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Woodstock staying out of range there.

Urbonas tries to land a leg kick but Woodstock saw it coming and moves away.
Woodstock throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Urbonas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Urbonas takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A chopping leg kick lands by Woodstock.
Urbonas is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The fighters circle, before Woodstock throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Urbonas's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Woodstock lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Peda Woodstock!
