Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruehlen looks to land a left hand but Button moved out of range nicely.
Ruehlen swats away the attempt to clinch by Button .
Ruehlen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ruehlen.

Ruehlen keeps control of Button as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ruehlen cracks Button with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ruehlen throws a leg kick but Button sees it coming and moves out of range.

Button shoots in for a double leg but Ruehlen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Button shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Button fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ruehlen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ruehlen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Button is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ruehlen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Button to the mat. Button regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Ruehlen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ruehlen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Ruehlen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Ruehlen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ruehlen wants to pass the guard but Button is defending well.
Ruehlen postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Button to stand up.
Ruehlen closes the distance and clinches.
Ruehlen gets control of Button 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ruehlen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruehlen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ruehlen gets to his feet - Button follows without any prompting.
Button shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ruehlen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Ruehlen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Button tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gage Ruehlen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Button doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ruehlen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ruehlen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Button misses with a head kick.
Ruehlen darts in and clinches Button up against the cage.
Ruehlen struggles to land a body shot inside as Button controls his hands.
Ruehlen gets underhooks to prevent Button 's takedown attempt.

Ruehlen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Button regains guard immediately.

Button is working an open guard so Ruehlen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ruehlen throws a series of punches but Button avoids them all with ease.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ruehlen.
No joy there for Button , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gage Ruehlen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ruehlen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ruehlen showed some decent athleticism there.
Gage Ruehlen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ruehlen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well Ruehlen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
