The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reinikainen thows a body kick. Silvera tries to catch it but that hurt him.
No joy there for Silvera, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reinikainen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silvera.
Reinikainen misses the shot to the body.
Silvera drops his hands momentarily and Reinikainen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Silvera pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silvera lands with a right hand.
Joey Silvera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Silvera catches Reinikainen right on the button with a cross.

Reinikainen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silvera throws a head kick but Reinikainen moves out of range.

Silvera throws a right and a left that Reinikainen avoids nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silvera throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Reinikainen throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Reinikainen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silvera on the side of the head.

Reinikainen lands a left and a right that send Silvera crashing to the mat, dazed. Reinikainen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Silvera is rocked!

It looks like Joey Silvera has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reinikainen drops Silvera with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silvera looks back up at him and smiles so Reinikainen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Silvera is still on wobbly legs! Can Reinikainen finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Reinikainen engages and cracks Silvera with a massive lead left hook - Silvera tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Reinikainen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
