Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Wainright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luter Wafles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rufus Wainright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luter Wafles! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wainright fails with a takedown attempt. Wafles takes the fight into the clinch. Wafles managing to block the knees to the body from Wainright.
Wafles drags the fight down to the ground.
Wafles pushes Wainright off and gets back to his feet.
Wafles jabs Wainright to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wainright shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wafles as he jumps to the side. Wainright leaves Wafles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wainright throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wafles throws a wild body kick that Wainright sees coming a mile off. Wafles tries a head kick but it misses.
Wainright wants to clinch but Wafles slips to the side and Wafles counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wainright wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wafles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wainright misses with a double jab.
Wafles looks for a takedown but Wainright sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Wafles or perhaps it was just good defense by Wainright which made him look bad. Rufus Wainright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luter Wafles. Wafles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wainright looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Wainright is really stuck here.
Good control from Wafles. Wafles lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wainright trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafles struggling to keep hold of the position.
Wainright trying to control the hands but Wafles breaks the grip. Wafles has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wainright's body.
Wainright is breathing heavily. Wainright tries to escape but Wafles has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Wafles is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.
Luter Wafles has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Wafles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wafles gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wafles breaks the clinch.
Wainright throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wafles counters with a shoot takedown. Wainright fights it but they end up in guard. Wafles seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wainright has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wafles has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wafles has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Wainright! Wafles looking to control but Wainright is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wafles has control of Wainright's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wainright regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wafles sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wafles with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luter Wafles dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wafles pushes Wainright up against the cage in a clinch. Wainright tries to pull guard but Wafles won't allow it.
Wafles breaks the clinch.
Wainright gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wafles to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wafles landing with the ground and pound. Wafles trying to control but Wainright is working from the bottom. Wafles advances to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wafles works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wafles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wainright is looking to escape. Wainright tries to improve his position but instead Wafles has taken his back! Wainright knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wafles on the ground. Wafles struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wainright is keeping busy.
Wafles controls the position. Wafles is persistently looking for the submission but Wainright is defending it well.
Wainright is trying to remain composed but Wafles is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Luter Wafles has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Wafles controlling the positon. Wainright trying to control the action but Wafles just sinks the hooks in. Wainright is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wafles controls the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Luter Wafles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rufus Wainright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luter Wafles. Wainright throws a series of punches but Wafles avoids them all with ease. Wafles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wainright circles away. Wafles takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Wafles takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Horrible takedown by Wafles or perhaps it was just good defense by Wainright which made him look bad. Wainright scores with a three punch combo!
Wainright tries to clinch up but Wafles circles away and keeps his distance. Wainright cracks Wafles with an open hand slap. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wainright misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wainright gets caught napping as Wafles dives in and scores a takedown. Wainright manages to retain guard. Wainright is striking off his back. Wafles thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Wafles prevents Wainright from improving his position. Wafles decides to stand up. Wafles rushes Wainright and presses him up against the cage. Wafles scores with a shoulder strike. Wainright missing with knees to the body.
Wafles has hold of one of Wainright's legs. Wainright is fighting the takedown attempt but Wafles gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Wainright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wafles is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafles trying to control but Wainright is working from the bottom. Wainright wants to stand but Wafles is controlling the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wainright trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Luter Wafles hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Wafles pushes Wainright up against the cage in a clinch. Wafles lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wafles decides to pull guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wafles can do anything to dispel that myth. Wafles manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wafles cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wafles wants to control the pace but Wainright is squirming around nicely. Wainright tries to hold on but Wafles postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wafles raining down shots from the mount! Rufus Wainright has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wainright can't escape the position.
Wafles controlling the pace for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Luter Wafles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wafles winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
