Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Rourk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Roc might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to J-Roc: Trailer Park Life. Michael Rourk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jay Roc's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Roc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Rourk!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc dips to his left and cracks Rourk with an uppercut!
Rourk digs a good body shot into Roc's ribs.
Rourk fails with a takedown attempt.
Roc works the jab nicely.
Rourk has a takedown stuffed.
Some wild striking there from Rourk.
Rourk swinging wildly here.

Rourk gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Roc to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Roc postures up in Rourk's guard and throws a big left but Rourk blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Roc makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rourk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rourk looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Roc's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Roc wants to control from the top but Rourk keeps moving.
Roc controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Roc avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Roc loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Roc is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Roc got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rourk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roc has managed to get both his arms back between Rourk's legs - danger averted.
Roc throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rourk works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jay Roc wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rourk takes one to the chin there.

Rourk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Roc.
Roc drops his hands momentarily and Rourk takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rourk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rourk fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jay Roc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Rourk.
Rourk shoots in for a double leg but Roc sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Roc throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rourk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Roc throws a hook but Rourk avoids it easily.

Roc scores a takedown into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roc controlling the pace for now.

Rourk is bucking up trying to escape but Roc cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Roc lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rourk hang on?

Roc has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rourk's face.

Roc is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rourk to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rourk shrugs it off.

Rourk is rocked!
Rourk is squirming around, avoiding Roc's attempts to control the action.
Rourk is still in real trouble! Can Roc finish him?
Rourk is trying desperately to improve position.
Rourk seems to have recovered his senses.
Roc looking to finish Rourk with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rourk!

Roc is landing with some decent strikes but Rourk is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Roc has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rourk's face.
Rourk is in a horrible position here. Roc smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Roc scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Roc loads up with a big shot that hurts Rourk! He's pulled Roc in close but Roc has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Rourk survive? More strikes from Roc and Rourk is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jay Roc!
