Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Douillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bija has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Bija! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Douillet! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Douillet jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bija misses with a hook. A looping hook to the body misses from Bija. Douillet does a little dance to reset his feet. Bija is breathing heavily. Bija ducks under a wild hook from Douillet. Bija takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bija throws a lazy uppercut
so Douillet counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Douillet stands and throws Bija's legs to the side, diving into side control. Douillet working the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Douillet scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bija to see if he's OK. Bija is being controlled here. Douillet lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Douillet content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Douillet working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bija takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Douillet is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bija looks calm but he's in trouble here. Douillet gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bija is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Douillet lets go of the hold and Bija can pop his arm back in it's socket.
