Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Victoriano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Tubog!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victoriano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Victoriano shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Victoriano wants to control but Tubog is keeping him busy.
Tubog wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Victoriano is thwarting Tubog's attempts to control the position.
Victoriano wants to control but Tubog is keeping him busy.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Andrew Victoriano just wasn't active enough.

Victoriano clinches up against the cage.

Victoriano stops a takedown attempt from Tubog.
Victoriano tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Victoriano has hold of one of Tubog's legs. Tubog is fighting the takedown attempt but Victoriano gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Tubog keeping moving, preventing Victoriano from controlling successfully.
Victoriano is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tubog is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Victoriano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Victoriano trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Victoriano is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Victoriano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

You can see the frustration on Victoriano's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Victoriano is trying to get back to half guard.
Victoriano wants to control but Tubog postures up.

Tubog is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Victoriano looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tubog gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Victoriano is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tubog lets go of the hold and Victoriano can pop his arm back in it's socket.
