The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic sizes up Campana with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Campana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Filipovic manages to avoid it.
Filipovic misses with a hook.
Filipovic checks the leg kick nicely there.
Filipovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Campana's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Filipovic connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Campana scrambles back to his feet.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Campana wants to control from the top but Filipovic keeps moving.
