Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Slayed. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Danzig!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig fails with the takedown.
Brown feints and as Danzig raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Danzig is looking to stand back up but Brown counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Danzig.
Brown thows a huge punch but Danzig dodges it nicely.
Brown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Danzig knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Danzig is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Danzig is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Danzig slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Danzig is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brown defends well.
Danzig has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Danzig manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brown is squirming around, avoiding Danzig's attempts to control the action.
Danzig wants to finish this one by submission but Brown is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Danzig.

Danzig has hold of Brown's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brown manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Danzig goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Brown is on top in guard.
Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Danzig has wrist control.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Danzig holds on and takes a little breather.
Danzig bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard.

Danzig wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Danzig drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Danzig jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Danzig drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Danzig has Brown in his guard.
Brown content to stall in guard here.

Danzig is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Danzig is looking for submissions but instead, Brown has regained full guard.
Danzig sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Danzig seems to be looking for submissions.
Danzig is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Danzig on the ground.
Danzig is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brown decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Danzig does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brown tries to pass to full mount but Danzig defends it.
Danzig manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danzig working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brown has passed into half guard!
Danzig is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!

Danzig is persistently looking for the submission but Brown is defending it well.
Brown is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Danzig is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Glenn Danzig has got the better of the ground game so far.

Brown is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Danzig gets his way!
