Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rumina Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cliff Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumina Endo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rumina Endo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cliff Brown! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Endo clinches with his opponent.
Endo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Brown is pressed up against the cage. Endo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Endo misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Endo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rumina Endo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Endo has a takedown stuffed. Endo stuffs the takedown. Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice jab there from Brown. Endo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brown has managed to clinch.
Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Brown has had enough of the clinch but Endo keeps him there for the moment. Endo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brown has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brown wriggles free and stands up. Brown moves into the clinch. Brown manages to break the clinch.
Brown tests Endo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Brown dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Endo. That did some damage! Brown has managed to clinch.
Brown wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Brown lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Brown rushes Endo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Brown breaks the clinch.
Endo shoots and misses and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brown does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Endo tries to clinch up. Endo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Endo off to one side. Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A left and a right from Brown both land. Nice combination. Endo tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily and Brown counters with a one-two to the body. Brown connects with a nice looking jab.
Endo shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Endo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Endo is working for a submission of some sort.
Endo wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Endo is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Endo tries to pass to full mount but Brown defends it. Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Endo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Endo's back! I really don't envy Endo right now.
Endo turns into Brown and is now in his guard.
Brown wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Endo trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Brown keeping full guard, as Endo tries to pass. Endo trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Endo won't allow Brown to sweep him here. Endo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brown keeping full guard, as Endo tries to pass.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.
Endo tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A low kick from Brown is predictable there and Endo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Endo. Endo pulls guard successfully.
Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Endo's guard. Endo working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown passes Endo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cliff Brown dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Endo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brown won't be happy with that. Brown manages to work his way to half guard, despite Endo's best efforts. Brown is trying to get back to full guard. Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brown kicks off Endo and gets to his feet. Brown throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cliff Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown doesn't manage to clinch there - Endo circles away.

Endo drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Endo off! Endo jumps back into Brown's guard. Endo has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Endo's guard. Endo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brown passes Endo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Endo tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control. It looks like Brown is going to stand back up.

Brown has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Brown prevents Endo from getting the reversal. Brown working for a guillotine from mount but Endo is in no mood to give up. Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Endo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Endo tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown with the ground and pound from mount. Brown trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Rumina Endo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brown trying to control but Endo is having none of it. Endo is trying desperately to improve position. Brown is in the full mount, landing strikes. Endo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Brown has control of Endo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Endo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Brown looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Endo manages to regain half guard. Good work. Endo regains full guard. Nicely done. Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Endo has an active guard here but Brown has managed to pass into half guard.

Cliff Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Nice straight punches there by Brown. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brown. Brown has Endo up against the cage in a clinch.
Endo tries to land knees in the clinch but Brown avoids the damage to the body. Brown wants to stall.
Brown tries to break the clinch but Endo is controlling the position. Endo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brown pulls him back up using the underhooks. A nice glancing elbow lands by Endo. Endo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Endo keeping busy on the bottom but Brown has passed one foot through into half guard.
Endo wants to get back to full guard. It looks like Brown is going to stand back up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Endo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown. Endo tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily and Brown counters with a straight right hand. Endo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Endo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily. Brown misses with a body kick.

Endo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown! Endo is looking for a sweep. Endo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Brown trying to mount his opponent but Endo defends it. Endo gets full guard. Brown pushes down on Endo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Endo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brown looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Endo trying to hold on to Brown's head to control him but Brown postures up.
Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Endo is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold. Endo wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.
Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Endo wants to sweep but Brown has passed to side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Cliff Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
