Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Melton Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Rocko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Melton Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lil Wayne - Drop The World ft. Eminem. Rocko has chosen The show goes on as his entrance music. Mike Melton Jr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Rocko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Melton Jr lands with a good body shot.
Mike Melton Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melton Jr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rocko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rocko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Melton Jr scores with a jab to the body.

Melton Jr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Melton Jr drops Rocko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rocko looks back up at him and smiles so Melton Jr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rocko takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Melton Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rocko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Melton Jr tests Rocko's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Melton Jr scores with a hook to the body. Rocko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Melton Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrible takedown by Rocko or perhaps it was just good defense by Melton Jr which made him look bad.
Melton Jr Throws a clean left jab. Melton Jr Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Rocko's chin! Rocko crumbles to the ground and Melton Jr follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Melton Jr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Melton Jr!
