Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Daiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by I Stand Alone. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Daiz!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez lands a jab.
Daiz looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Alvarez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Alvarez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Daiz.
Daiz tries for a takedown but Alvarez circles away easily
and Alvarez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Daiz thinking.
Daiz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Daiz there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Alvarez counters with a series of strikes. Daiz will be more careful next time no doubt.
Alvarez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Daizs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rodrigo Alvarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Daiz.

Daiz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Daiz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alvarez connects with a body shot that sends Daiz's belly button to the back.
Daiz looks gassed!
Daiz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Daiz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alvarez.
Daiz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alvarez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Daiz scrambles back to his feet.
Alvarez's corner calls for a 1-2. Alvarez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Alvarez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Daiz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alvarez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Alvarez lands a jab to Daiz's midsection.
Damien Daiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alvarez lands with a nice body punch.

Daiz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Alvarez is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Daiz.

Daiz is rocked!
Alvarez drops Daiz with a huge uppercut! Daiz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Alvarez is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
