The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tolstyak tries to clinch but Kassler is having none of it.

Kassler closes the distance and clinches.
Kassler blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kassler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tolstyak's efforts to push away.
Tolstyak is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kassler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kassler takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A head kick lands from Tolstyak that sends Kassler to the canvas. Kassler tries to scramble back to his feet but Tolstyak brings him back down into side control.

Kassler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tolstyak pulls his head out easily.

Kassler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tolstyak wants to get up but he can't break Kassler's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
