Zamorano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Cat Empire - Lost Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kooie tries for a takedown but Zamorano circles away easily
and Zamorano counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kooie has his takedown stuffed
and Zamorano counters with a body kick.
Kooie is breathing heavily.
Kooie fails with the takedown
and Zamorano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Kooie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zamorano changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zamorano lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kooie up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Zamorano from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kooie's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
