Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leandro Podogo!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podogo scores with a leg kick.

Podogo clinches up against the cage.
Podogo tries to pull guard but Man won't allow it.
Man wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Man is looking to break free of the clinch but Podogo has double underhooks.
Podogo wants to stall.
Man wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Podogo has him pressed against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Podogo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Podogo jumps guard and drags Man to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Podogo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Man has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Podogo is proving hard to escape from.

Podogo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Man's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Podogo is looking for a triangle but Man pushes his legs off easily.

Podogo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Man is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man wanted to stand there but Podogo had control of the position.

Man has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Podogo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Man is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Podogo pulls down on the head and he's put Man to sleep! This one is all over!
