Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Cooperman!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like John Cooperman has been cut.
Bobby Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooperman looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Cooperman jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Brown dives in and grabs Cooperman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cooperman pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
Cooperman lands a nice shot to the body.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cooperman avoids it really well and circles away.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cooperman tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cooperman to the ground. Cooperman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cooperman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooperman stuffs the takedown.
Cooperman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brown is breathing heavily.
A lazy left from Cooperman finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooperman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Brown walks into a left hand.
Cooperman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brown stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cooperman throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Brown colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Cooperman as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Brown is left battered and dazed whilst Cooperman and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Cooperman!
