Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Tuber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shields gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tuber to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shields sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

and Tuber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shields's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Tuber shoots in looking for a takedown. Shields tries to sprawl out of it but Tuber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shields manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Shields wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tuber keeps working.
Tuber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tuber tries to get out of the position.
Tuber can't do much from the bottom here.
The ground and pound from Shields seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Shields misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Shields takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Tuber to pass into mount.
Shields can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tuber is looking to escape.
Tuber tries to lock up and control but Shields gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tuber is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Shields misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tuber tries to hold on but Shields postures up.
Shields takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Shields prevents Tuber from improving his position.
Bubba Tuber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shields thows a huge punch but Tuber dodges it nicely.

Well Tuber has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
