Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riki Oh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Science vs. Romance. The crowd seem to be enjoying Oh's choice of entrance music: Burning down the House. Jesse Parker had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesse Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riki Oh! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker misses with a kick to the body.
Oh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it. Oh needs to keep his hands up - Parker had a free shot at his head there. Oh throws an off balance right hand
and Parker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Parker thows a huge punch but Oh dodges it nicely.
Parker is looking to stall here but Oh recovers full guard. Parker looking to pass the guard. Parker trying to move into half guard but instead Oh has managed to sweep! Parker looking for a sweep. Not yet Parker, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker keeping moving, preventing Oh from controlling successfully. Parker wants to sweep but no luck. Parker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oh manages to get himself to full guard.
Parker wants to pass the guard but Oh is keeping the position. Parker looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Oh seems keen to control Parker's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker throws a big right hand that misses. Parker looking to pass the guard. Parker passes easily into side control. Nice work. Oh seems a little lost for a moment, as Parker dominates the positioning. Parker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oh keeps working. Oh parries the strikes from Parker easily there. Parker is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Oh to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oh dodges the ground and pound from Parker. An elbow from Parker crashes against the mat.
Parker is looking to take a break and control but Oh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Oh is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Parker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Oh is not content to let Parker control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker misses with the ground and pound. Oh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Parker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Parker throws a strike aimed at the side of Oh's head but Oh avoids it well. Parker trying to control the position but Oh is working away. Oh is being controlled here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oh is looking to reverse the position. Parker working away. Oh manages to work his way to half guard, despite Parker's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Parker dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Oh throws a combination that misses and Parker counters with a two punch combo. Oh tests Parker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oh shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Parker works over Oh's head and body with a nice combination. Nice uppercut there from Parker. A big right from Oh misses. Oh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Parker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oh wants it to stay on the feet. Oh throws the left hand but Parker avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oh lands a lovely overhand right. Oh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side. Jesse Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riki Oh. Parker throws a series of punches but Oh avoids them all with ease. Nice body punch from Parker. Parker throws a series of punches but Oh moves out of range. Oh misses with a body shot.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Parker defending well as Oh loads up on a big left hand. Parker misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oh tries to close the distance and clinch but Parker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Parker thows a body shot but no joy. Parker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oh. Parker closes the distance but Oh moves to the side and Oh counters with a lovely shot to the body. Parker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Parker wants to clinch. Oh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oh stuffs the takedown. Parker looks to land a body kick but Oh moved away. Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh misses with an uppercut. Parker saw that one coming. Oh throws out a loose jab but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it. Parker lands a slapping body shot.
Parker moves out of range of the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker closes the distance and clinches. Good body shot from Oh.
A shot in the inside from Parker. Oh throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Parker blocks it with crossed arms. Oh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Parker tries to break the clinch but Oh is controlling the position. Oh is trying to force a seperation but Parker has the dominant position. Parker taking a breather. Oh lands a nice knee to the body. Parker misses with a body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oh misses with a hook to the ribs.
Parker stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jesse Parker will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Parker slips a jab from Oh. Oh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Parker on the side of the head. Oh stuffs the takedown attempt from Parker. Parker gets slowly back to his feet. Oh looks for a takedown but Parker sprawls well. Parker tries to bum rush Oh with a series of wild strikes but Oh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Oh swings for the body but Parker moves out of range.

Parker seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Oh has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Oh postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker is looking to regain half guard here but Oh keeps moving and retains side control. Parker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Parker manages to get back to half guard. Oh trying to control the action but Parker is working from the bottom. Parker moves into full guard.
Oh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oh is one step ahead there. Oh trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oh landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy. Oh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Parker is working hard here to advance position. Jesse Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Oh's guard. Parker trying to control but Oh is working from the bottom. Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parker stands and throws Oh's legs to the side, diving into side control. Riki Oh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker in side control, just content to control the action for now. Parker working away. Parker cracks Oh with an elbow. That is naaassty. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. You can see the frustration on Oh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Parker trying to control the action but Oh is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Parker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Parker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
