The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doss connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Christmas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Doss but Doss pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Christmas shoots in for a takedown but Doss shows good takedown defense.
Doss connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Christmas's hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Christmas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doss's half guard.
Christmas stalling away here and it's allowed Doss to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Christmas throws a strike but Doss rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Doss feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Christmass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Vincent Christmas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
