Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuhiro Hirota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hirota's choice of entrance music: 'More Extinction' by Grails. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva wants to land a leg kick but Hirota is out of range.
Hirota showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mitsuhiro Hirota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hirota wants to sweep but no luck.
Hirota had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hirota Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
Hirota is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
