Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Malone! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parker wants it to stay on the feet. Malone with a poor takedown enabling Parker to counter with a crisp jab. Parker leaves Malone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Frank Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Malone. Malone fails to land the takedown. Malone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Malone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Parker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Malone's guard now. Malone looks gassed! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Parker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Malone on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Parker wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. Malone has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Parker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Malone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Malone on the side of the head. Malone has a takedown stuffed. Malone fails to land the takedown. Parker getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Malone is rocked! Parker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Parker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Parker cracks Malone with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Malone tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Parker pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Malone is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Parker!
