Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuchiki Byakuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Passat's entrance music is looser by Beck. A fine choice. Byakuya is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Let's Go. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ruffuss Passat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuchiki Byakuya!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passat fails in his attempt to clinch.
Passat misses with a series of wild punches.
Passat throws a sloppy head kick and Byakuya moves out of range easily.
Passat looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Byakuya manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Passat manages to get himself to full guard.
Passat trying to keep a closed guard but Byakuya is proving a slippery customer.
Passat is breathing heavily.
Byakuya trying to control the position from guard on top but Passat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Passat will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Byakuya looking to sit in guard and control but Passat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Byakuya is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Byakuya manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Byakuya looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Passat tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Byakuya looking to control but Passat is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Byakuya is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kuchiki Byakuya just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice sprawl there from Byakuya as Passat shoots in.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Byakuya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Passat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Passat drives through and clinches with Byakuya against the cage.
Passat is pressed up against the cage. Byakuya has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Passat down to the mat. Passat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Passat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Byakuya fails with the takedown
and Passat counters with a two punch combo.
Byakuya avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A swing and a miss from Passat.
Passat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Byakuya moves away.
Ruffuss Passat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Byakuya closes the distance but Passat moves to the side
and Passat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Byakuya gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Passat counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Byakuya!
Ruffuss Passat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuchiki Byakuya.
Passat pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Byakuya wants to control but Passat is having none of it.
Byakuya tries to reverse the position but Passat maintains control.
Byakuya regains half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Byakuya trying to hold on to Passat's head to control him but Passat postures up.
Byakuya slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Byakuya pushes a forearm under Passat's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Passat is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
