Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darvin Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harri Haikala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darvin Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harri Haikala! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haikala throws a wild body kick that Moon sees coming a mile off. Moon clobbers Haikala with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Haikala jabs at Moon's body. Moon takes one on the button. Haikala tries to land a front kick but Moon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Haikala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moon moves away. Haikala misses with a combination
and Moon counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Haikala lands a glancing blow to the side of Moon's head. Haikala scores with a leg kick.

It looks like Darvin Moon has been cut. Haikala misses with a right hand enabling Moon to counter with a crisp jab. Nice shot lands for Haikala.

Haikala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A swing and a miss from Moon. Haikala tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Moon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Haikala swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moon throws a hook to the side of Haikala's head but Haikala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Haikala tries to close the distance and clinch but Moon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Moon staying out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haikala connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This has been an exciting period of action! Moon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Moon is breathing heavily. Haikala lands a left and a right that sends Moon crashing to the canvas! Haikala dives into mount looking to finish!
Moon is rocked! Moon is squirming around, avoiding Haikala's attempts to control the action. Oh Moon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Moon holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Haikala tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Moon seems to have got his legs back now. Haikala looking to finish with strikes here!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haikala wants to control the pace but Moon is squirming around nicely. Haikala sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Haikala thowing shots but they're missing. Haikala misses with a head shot. Haikala can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moon is looking to escape. Haikala prevents Moon from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moon wants to control but Haikala is having none of it. Moon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Harri Haikala dominated that round. The cut man is working on Darvin Moon's cut. That's time! Moon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Moon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A looping hook to the body misses from Haikala. Moon does a little dance to reset his feet. Haikala scores with a hook.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Haikala throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Moon tumbling to the canvas! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Haikala trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Haikala throwing strikes from guard but Moon blocks nicely. Haikala stays in close to Moon's body and controls the position. Haikala postures up.
Haikala trying to stand up but can't free himself from Moon's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Moon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Haikala trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Haikala stands and throws Moon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Haikala looking to control but instead Moon has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Haikala wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working. Haikala tries to pass to full mount but Moon defends it. Haikala missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haikala is nestled in close to Moon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Haikala throwing shots but Moon is blocking nicely. Haikala sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Moon defending well though. Moon wants to get back to full guard. Haikala wants to take a breather but Moon is having none of it. Haikala stalling away here and it's allowed Moon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Haikala won't allow Moon to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moon wants to sweep but no luck. Moon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haikala's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Haikala is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haikala has his feet on Moon's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Haikala moves into range and connects with a jab. Moon throws a lazy right hand but Haikala sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Moon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Moon takes one on the button. Haikala throws a low kick but it's checked well by Moon. Haikala drops his shoulder and cracks Moon with a huge uppercut! Moon goes down! Can Haikala finish him?
Darvin Moon's cut is getting worse. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Haikala. Haikala tries to stand but Moon is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haikala trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harri Haikala has got the better of the ground game so far. Moon keeping moving, preventing Haikala from controlling successfully. Moon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Haikala! Haikala tries to lock up and control but Moon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Moon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harri Haikala showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Darvin Moon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haikala is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Haikala tries to land a sweep but no joy. Haikala is trying to control the position but Moon postures up. Moon wants to control from the top but Haikala keeps moving.
Harri Haikala has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Haikala fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moon manages to avoid it. Moon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Haikala counters with a right hand to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Haikala there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haikala misses with a leg kick. Haikala throws a quick inside leg kick. Haikala slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Haikala lands with a right hand. Haikala looks to land a right hand but Moon moved out of range. Haikala scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moon doesn't seem bothered though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Haikala looks to score with a jab to the body but Moon is just out of range. Haikala changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Moon takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Haikala looks to land a body kick but Moon moved away. Haikala has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Haikala lands a glancing blow to the side of Moon's head. Harri Haikala seems to be getting the better of the standup. Haikala throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Moon dodges the punch combination from Haikala.
Moon checks a low kick from Haikala. Haikala cracks a nice hook into Moon's ribs. Harri Haikala is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Haikala throws a series of punches but Moon moves out of range. Haikala displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Harri Haikala is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Darvin Moon's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Moon avoids a kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Harri Haikala comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Haikala has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
