Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chan Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilio Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lei might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rising Dawn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei fails with the takedown

and Martinez moves into the clinch.
Lei tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Martinez smiles and moves away.
Martinez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Martinez wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chan Lei. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Martinez gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Lei jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Martinez walks away with a smile on his face. Lei gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lei shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Martinez to counter with a crisp jab.

Martinez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chan Lei's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
