Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Seaborne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shamrock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smells Like Teen Spirit. Seaborne has chosen Success as his entrance music. Jason Shamrock could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sam Seaborne's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock with a lazy takedown attempt
and Seaborne makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Shamrock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Seaborne counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Shamrock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seaborne wants to control from the top but Shamrock keeps moving.
Seaborne stands and steps away. Shamrock gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Shamrock looks for a takedown but Seaborne sprawls well.
Shamrock is breathing heavily.
Shamrock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Seaborne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shamrock's guard.

Seaborne drops back looking for a leg! Shamrock is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shamrock manages to kick Seaborne off! Seaborne jumps back into Shamrock's guard.

Seaborne has hold of Shamrock's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shamrock tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Seaborne cranks the arm and Shamrock screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shamrock, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
