Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asher Lee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gracie Jitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Lee gets a clinch. Jitsu wants to get back to striking at distance but Lee won't allow it.
Jitsu is trying to maintain a safe position but Lee gets an underhook and turns Jitsu into the cage. Jitsu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jitsu stalling in the clinch but Lee improves position. Jitsu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Gracie Jitsu has been cut. Lee manages to break the clinch.
Jitsu tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range. Lee throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Lee thows a body kick. Jitsu tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jitsu swinging wilding here.
Jitsu takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jitsu shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gracie Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jitsu tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jitsu is breathing heavily. Lee throws a head kick but Jitsu moves out of range.

Lee plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jitsu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Lee rushes Jitsu and presses him up against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Jitsu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jitsu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Lee wanted to stand there but Jitsu had control of the position. Lee is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Jitsu wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jitsu is keeping the position for now.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Lee plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Lee drives through and clinches with Jitsu against the cage.

Asher Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jitsu's head. Lee clinches with his opponent.
Lee lands an elbow just above Jitsu 's eye. Lee gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jitsu is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy. Nice elbow from Lee. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jitsu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Jitsu tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice. Lee throws a head kick but Jitsu moves out of range.

Jitsu thows a body shot but no joy. Jitsu walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lee. Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jitsu swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Lee clinches up with Jitsu and pushes him back against the cage. Lee misses with an elbow strike.

Jitsu has had enough of the clinch but Lee keeps him there for the moment. Lee throws an elbow but it misses.
Jitsu manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jitsu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Jitsu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jitsu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jitsu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard. Jitsu controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asher Lee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gracie Jitsu's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jitsu tries to clinch up. Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jitsu tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Lee instigates a clinch. Lee keeps control of Jitsu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jitsu tries for a takedown but Lee manages to get underhooks.
Jitsu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage. Lee lands a damaging elbow. Lee gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jitsu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jitsu closes the distance looking to clinch and Lee counters with a low kick, right behind Jitsu 's knee. Jitsu looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gracie Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Lee won't allow Jitsu to sweep him here. Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jitsu working a defensive guard here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jitsu is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu is pushing down on Lee's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lee is fighting to maintain full guard but Jitsu has managed to sneak the leg through. Jitsu keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Lee taking some punishment here, with Jitsu in his half guard. Jitsu performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jitsu is trying for a kimura here. Lee looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Jitsu wins by kimura!
