The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws out a loose jab but Block uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Block is just out of range.
Jones clinches with his opponent.
Block takes an elbow to the forehead.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Block.
Jones prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Christian Block has been cut.
Jones is struggling to control the position.
Jones has Block pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Block is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jones - that's hurt Block badly! Oh, another knee lands and Block is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Block doesn't seem to be complaining.
