Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Chinaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Barden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Chinaski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Barden! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barden with a body punch. A glancing blow. Barden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chinaski swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Barden looks to land a right hand but Chinaski moved out of range. Barden wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Barden throws a lazy uppercut
and Chinaski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Barden uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chinaski. Barden throws a poor cross that misses
and Chinaski counters with a thumping low kick. Barden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chinaski.
Barden throws a hook to the side of Chinaski's head but Chinaski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Chinaski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chinaski works the jab nicely. Barden tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chinaski is able to avoid easily. Henry Chinaski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slow jab from Barden misses its intended target. Chinaski fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barden on the side of the head. Barden slips under a jab. Barden throws a nice outside leg kick. Barden swinging wildly here.

Chinaski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chinaski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Barden misses with a hook. Chinaski ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barden takes a swing at Chinaski's ribcage but misses. Some wild striking there from Chinaski.
Barden blocks a leg kick. Eli Barden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barden misses with a shot to the body and Chinaski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big left from Chinaski misses. Barden ducks under a wild hook from Chinaski. Barden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Barden is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chinaski wants it to stay on the feet. Chinaski throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Barden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chinaski misses the jab. Chinaski tries to work over Barden's front leg with a kick but Barden checks it. Barden throws a jab when Chinaski was well out of range. Barden looks to land a left hand but Chinaski moved out of range nicely. Barden stuns Chinaski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Chinaski misses with a leg kick and Barden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Barden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Barden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chinaski. Decent striking displayed by Barden there. Barden takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Chinaski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Some wild striking there from Chinaski.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Barden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Barden throws a big shot that misses. Barden throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Chinaski dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Barden throws a series of punches but Chinaski moves out of range. Barden throws a leg kick which misses Chinaski's front leg but catches the back leg as Chinaski tries to avoid it. Barden misses with a series of wild punches.
Chinaski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chinaski tests Barden's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sloppy strikes from Chinaski. Those never looked like landing. Chinaski misses with an uppercut. Barden saw that one coming. Barden avoids the body shot from Chinaski.
Chinaski throws a jab when Barden was well out of range. Barden throws a solid leg kick but Chinaski takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Barden.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barden. Chinaski misses the shot to the body. Barden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Barden stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Chinaski looks to land a combination. Barden sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Chinaski misses with a low kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinaski stuffs the takedown attempt from Barden. Barden gets slowly back to his feet. Henry Chinaski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Barden. A swing and a miss from Chinaski. Barden fails with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Barden is rocked! A looping hook to the body misses from Barden. Chinaski does a little dance to reset his feet. Barden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chinaski manages to avoid it. Barden scores with a nice strike. Barden keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chinaski. Barden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chinaski connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Barden tumbling to the canvas! Chinaski pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Barden was done - good stoppage!
