0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Robinson! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Robinson counters with a one-two to the body. Robinson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Garcia.
It looks like Ronald Garcia has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Garcia has a takedown stuffed. Garcia closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Robinson tries to clinch there but Garcia circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Garcia has Robinson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Robinson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Robinson misses with a knee to the head. Robinson leaning his opponent against the cage. Garcia gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Garcia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Robinson is just riding it out for now. Garcia eventually gives up the hold. Garcia is breathing heavily. Garcia is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Robinson has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson lands with a kick to the temple. Garcia shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Garcia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Garcia circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garcia is defended easily by Robinson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Robinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Robinson with a nice head shot there. Robinson scoring with punches to the head and body. Robinson landing some decent shots from guard. Robinson connects with a couple of short punches. Robinson with a flurry of punches that miss. Garcia keeping full guard, as Robinson tries to pass. Robinson throws a sloppy strike and Garcia has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Robinson is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Garcia!
