Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory thows a body shot but no joy.
Ferreira throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Arnie Gregory has been cut.
Ferreira moves out of range of the strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gregory. Ferreira does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gregory looks to score with a jab to the body but Ferreira is just out of range.
Gregory throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferreira sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ferreira connects with a crisp jab.
Ferreira misses with the combination.
Gregory throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferreira.
Ferreira connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gregory's hands.
Ferreira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gregory.
Ferreira fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gregory takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gregory throws a series of punches but Ferreira avoids them all with ease.
Jab, jab by Ferreira - just one landing.
Gregory is rocked!
Ferreira digs a good body shot into Gregory's ribs.
Gregory doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ferreira catches Gregory with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gregory is still on wobbly legs! Can Ferreira finish him?
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gregory takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ferreira closes the distance and clinches up with Gregory, looking for a takedown. Ferreira pushes Gregory against the ropes but Gregory circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gregory seems to have recovered his senses.
Gregory takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ferreira lands a left and a right that send Gregory crashing to the mat, dazed. Ferreira thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ferreira moves away from the strike by Gregory.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gregory throws out a loose jab but Ferreira uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ferreira lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Gregory can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ferreira and Gregory drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ferreira.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Ferreira!
