Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choice Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Of Wolf and Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson takes the fight into the clinch.
Gracie wants to break free but Johnson has control.
Gracie has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment.

Johnson avoids the elbow strike from Gracie, against the cage.
Johnson stalls.

Johnson jumps into guard, dragging Gracie to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.

Gracie gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Gracie swinging wilding here.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gracie throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gracie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Johnson's sensitive parts.

Good leg kick by Gracie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick from Johnson.
Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Left hook, right uppercut from Gracie.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson shoots in but Gracie avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gracie is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Gracie manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

Johnson is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie is working the ground and pound. Can Johnson escape?
Gracie gets his hands free as Johnson looks to control.

Gracie has the hooks in. Johnson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Gracie lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Gracie scores with punches from the back.

Gracie has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Johnson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gracie gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
