Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter throws a leg kick which misses Mendez's front leg but catches the back leg as Mendez tries to avoid it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mendez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Walter - the referee stops the clock and Mendez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Walter. Mendez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Walter feints and then cracks Mendez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendez down.

Walter walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mendez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Walter swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mendez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
