Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jb Nnep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blowin Swishers. The key to victory for Jb Nnep has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jb Nnep! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Kidd! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kidd moves into the clinch. Kidd slowing the pace effectively. Kidd stops a takedown attempt from Nnep.
Kidd's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Nnep tries to circle away but Kidd has him pinned against the cage. Kidd scores with a shoulder strike. Nnep tries to pull guard but Kidd holds him up against the cage and eventually Nnep drops back down to his feet.
Nnep being controlled against the cage. Nnep drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kidd pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jb Nnep. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nnep with a poor takedown and Kidd counters with a shoot takedown. Nnep fights it but they end up in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nnep looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kidd is one step ahead there. Nnep working a defensive guard here.
Kidd stands up from Nnep's guard - Kidd perhaps looking for a knockout. Kidd clinches up against the cage. Nnep stalling in the clinch but Kidd improves position. Kidd dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nnep drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kidd tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nnep's elbow. Kidd works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kidd showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kidd decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kidd shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nnep napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidd has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nnep is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kidd yanks on the arm and Nnep is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kidd.
