Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodolfo Castaneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ershad Mansouri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodolfo Castaneda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ershad Mansouri!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mansouri lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Mansouri fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mansouri closes this distance looking for a takedown but Castaneda circles away.
Mansouri fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rodolfo Castaneda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ershad Mansouri.

Castaneda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mansouri controls the pace.

Mansouri passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Castaneda!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mansouri goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Castaneda turns into him and now he's in Mansouri's guard.
Mansouri wriggles free and stands up.

Castaneda throws a body punch but Mansouri moves out of range.
A combination from Mansouri does no damage.
Mansouri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castaneda as he avoids it easily.
Mansouri shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Castaneda defends it nicely.
Mansouri fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mansouri dives in and grabs Castaneda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castaneda pushes down on Mansouri's head and hops out.
Mansouri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Castaneda swivels and escapes.
Mansouri fails to land with a series of punches.
Mansouri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castaneda's waist but Castaneda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mansouri off to one side.
Mansouri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Castaneda tries to strike from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ershad Mansouri dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mansouri looks for a takedown but Castaneda sprawls well.
Mansouri shoots in looking for a takedown. Castaneda tries to sprawl out of it but Mansouri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Castaneda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Castaneda ducks under a wild hook from Mansouri.
Mansouri misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mansouri shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mansouri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castaneda manages to avoid it.
Mansouri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mansouri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castaneda sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mansouri somewhat.
A low kick from Mansouri is predictable there
and Castaneda counters with a body kick.
Mansouri is breathing heavily.
Mansouri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaneda as he jumps to the side.
Mansouri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mansouri slips a jab from Castaneda.
Ershad Mansouri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mansouri tries for a takedown but Castaneda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mansouri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaneda as he jumps to the side.
Castaneda delivers a nice body kick.

It looks like Ershad Mansouri has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mansouri fails with the takedown.
Mansouri tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rodolfo Castaneda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Castaneda lands with a nice body kick.
Mansouri avoids the body shot from Castaneda.

Castaneda lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mansouri on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Castaneda. Castaneda obviously looking to wear him down.
Whack! Castaneda lands a heavy head kick that drops Mansouri. The ref tackles Castaneda to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mansouri was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Rodolfo Castaneda!
